My Professional Fees :
$140 for Individual Therapy. Appointments are usually 50 minutes in length.
Other fees are available upon request for couples counseling, family therapy, and psycholgoical testing.
Insurance
Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan.
I am a Preferred Provide r with several health insurance plans. Please feel free to call my office to discuss your particular situation.
Please check your coverage carefully by asking the following questions:
- Do I have mental health insurance benefits (often referred to as "behavioral health")?
- If my provider is "out of network" will you still reimburse me for any portion of my session?
- What is my deductible and has it been met?
- How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
- What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
- Is approval required from my primary care physician?
Payment
Cash, check as well as Visa, Master Card and American Express can be accepted for payment.
All fees or co-payments are due at the time services are rendered.
If I do not participate as a preferred provider with your plan, I will be glad to provide you with a form that you can submit to your insuror for reimbursement.
If I am a preferred provider with your plan, I will file on your behalf, with your consent, and you will then be responsible only for your co-payment and any deductible.
Cancellation Policy
Please note that my office policies require that you provide at least 24 hours notice if you cannot keep a scheduled appointment so that it may be offered to someone else. If you are unable to provide 24 hours notice, unless it is an emergency situation, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session as insurance will not reimburse this expense.
Can I Schedule Online?
I prefer that we have a chance to chat before scheduling our first appointment. I offer a complimentary, 10-15 minute opportunity for us to discuss your interests, needs, and concerns, so that we can determine if my practice is appropriate for your goals, and also for you to have an opportunity to speak with me and determine if you feel comfortable scheduling this initial session. I also find it helps us identify a time that is the most workable for you/your family.
